With ICT 362 coming to an end, I must say there were a lot of resources I was able to take away from this course. In this last blog post for a while, I will be highlighting some of the biggest takeaways from this class. Before taking ICT 362 I didn't think I would learn anything different about computers, however, there were a lot of educational apps and resources I will think about implementing in my future classrooms.
When we first went over ICT frameworks the SAMR model, Triple E Framework, and the TIM model, I never knew anything about them. However, after going through them in class I realized that they will be essential to look at before deciding whether or not I want to implement a certain type of ICT in my classroom. Another early takeaway from the course was when we went over digital citizenship and digital literacy, going through those helped me realize that is important that we implement them as early as possible, so young students have an idea of what they are doing and what to look out for while using the internet and other resources.
The biggest surprise to me when taking ICT was how many educational apps and resources there are out there that are beneficial for both students and teachers. Some of the apps that come to mind are the presentations we had in class such as IXL, google classroom, scratch, class dojo, CommonLit, Quizlet, Plickers, Kahoot, Seesaw, Lumio, and Desmos to name a few of the presentations, all uses of ICT I never thought about before taking ICT. However, with all of these resources now presented and more, it will also be important for me to continue to research and decide which resources can make help me become a better teacher and make my life easier when teaching in a classroom. After this class, I will continue to look out for more ICT resources that can also improve my abilities to teach in the class. ICT will now become a key tool I will always remember to use in my future classrooms.

Lastly, I want to thank my instructor, Matteo, for all the resources he provided and for changing how I will be using ICT in my future classrooms.
